MSGM is an Italian clothing brand founded in 2009 by Massimo Giorgetti, a self-taught designer from San Mauro Pascoli, Emilia-Romagna. The brand's name comes from the initials of three people dear to him and is also a tribute to the band MGMT, one of his favorites.
The brand debuted with a men's collection in 2009, followed by a women's collection. The first major success came in 2010, when MSGM was selected by Vogue Italia as one of the best emerging collections in the "Who's on Next?" contest. Since then, the brand's collections have been presented at Milan Fashion Week and are available in over 600 stores worldwide.
